Honey & Lime Dipping Sauce

Honey & Lime Dipping Sauce

Servings:         4

Ingredients 

  • Juice of 3 limes 
  • 3 tbsp honey 
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed  
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger 
  • 2 tsp soy sauce 
  • 1 tsp Thai curry paste 
  • 1 fresh red chilli, seeded and thinly sliced  

 

Method 

  1. Place all the ingredients in a pan and heat gently. Do not boil. 
  2. Serve with fish cakes or prawns cooked on your Firepod

Carbonara Pizza

Carbonara Pizza

Servings: 4

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza base 
  • 425g carbonara pasta sauce 
  • 90g shredded mozzarella 
  • 100g pancetta, sliced 
  • 125g mushrooms, sliced 
  • 3 shallots, thinly sliced 

 Method 

  1. First make your easy dough. 

  2. Spread the pasta sauce over the bases and sprinkle the cheese. 

  3. Top with pancetta, mushrooms and shallots.  

  4. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes.

Vegetable Kebabs

Vegetable Kebabs

Servings: 4 

Prep time: 10 minutes 

Cooking time15 minutes 

Ingredients 

  • 1 tbsp grainy mustard 
  • 1 tbsp clear honey 
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • courgette, thickly sliced  
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges 
  • 8 cherry tomatoes 
  • 1 yellow pepper, cut into chunks 
  • 1 green pepper, cut into chunks 

 

Method 

  1. Blend together the mustard, honey and oil and season with salt and black pepper. 

  2. Assemble the veg onto 4 skewers and brush with the glaze. 

  3. Cook on your Firepod griddle for 15 mins and brush with the remaining glaze before serving.

Jerk marinade for chicken

Jerk marinade for chicken

Servings: 4 

Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1 small onion 
  • 4 tbsp fresh orange juice 
  • ½ inch piece fresh ginger, sliced 
  • 1 whole green chilli, seeds removed 
  • 1 tbsp lime juice 
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed 
  • ½ tsp ground cloves 
  • 4 large chicken drumsticks   

Method 

  1. Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 

  2. Pour over the chicken and marinate in the fridge for a few hours. 

  3. Cook on your Firepod griddle until the juices run clear.

Breakfast Pizza

Breakfast Pizza

Servings: 2 
Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza base 
  • 6 bacon rashers 
  • 4 sausages  
  • Handful of mushrooms 
  • 150g baby spinach leaves 
  • 125 ml pizza sauce 
  • Handful of grated cheese 
  • baby tomatoes  
  • 2 eggs 
Method 
  1. Pre-cook the bacon, sausages and mushrooms in a large frying pan. 
  2. Add the spinach and cook for a few minutes until wilted. Season with salt and pepper. 
  3. Spread the pizza base with some sauce and sprinkle half the cheese. 
  4. Top with the bacon, sausage, mushrooms and spinach then crack an egg into the middle. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and baby tomatoes. 
  5. Cook in your Firepod for about 4 minutes turning once during cooking.
