Breakfast Pizza

Breakfast Pizza

Servings: 2 
Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza base 
  • 6 bacon rashers 
  • 4 sausages  
  • Handful of mushrooms 
  • 150g baby spinach leaves 
  • 125 ml pizza sauce 
  • Handful of grated cheese 
  • baby tomatoes  
  • 2 eggs 
Method 
  1. Pre-cook the bacon, sausages and mushrooms in a large frying pan. 
  2. Add the spinach and cook for a few minutes until wilted. Season with salt and pepper. 
  3. Spread the pizza base with some sauce and sprinkle half the cheese. 
  4. Top with the bacon, sausage, mushrooms and spinach then crack an egg into the middle. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and baby tomatoes. 
  5. Cook in your Firepod for about 4 minutes turning once during cooking.

Hawaiian Pizza

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza base 
  • 2 tbsp pizza sauce 
  • 125g sliced ham 
  • 432g tin of pineapple chunks 
  • 150 g grated mozzarella  

Method 

  1. For pizza base see recipe no 1. 

  2. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base.  

  3. Top with the ham, pineapple and mozzarella cheese. 

  4. Cook in your Firepod for 4 mins

    Easy Pepperoni Pizza

    Easy Pepperoni Pizza

    Servings: 2 

    Prep time: 30 minutes 

    Cooking time: 5 minutes 

      Ingredients 

    • 1 pizza base 
    • 120g/4 ½ oz passata 
    • 1 tbsp tomato puree 
    • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs 
    • Big pinch of salt 
    • 1 mozzarella ball, torn into small pieces 
    • 10 pepperoni slices  
    • 30g/1 oz grated cheddar cheese 

     Method 

    1. In a bowl mix together the passata, tomato puree and mixed herbs. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.  

    2. Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza base with the back of a spoon. 

    3. Scatter the mozzarella and pepperoni then top with the cheddar.  

    4. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes turning once during cooking.

    Easy Pizza Sauce

    Easy Pizza Sauce

    Servings: 

    Prep time: 15 minutes  

    Cooking time45 minutes  

    Ingredients 

    50ml extra-virgin olive oil 
    1 large onion finely chopped 
    3 garlic cloves crushed 
    ½ tsp of chilli flakes 
    2 x 400g chopped tin tomatoes 
    1 tbs of red wine vinegar 
    Small bunch of fresh basil 

     

    Method 

    1. In a medium size saucepan heat the olive oil and gently fry the onions until softened. 

    2. Add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook for a further 4 minutes. 

    3. Add the tomatoes, red wine vinegar and season to taste with salt and black pepper.  

    4. Add the fresh basil and gently simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

    5. Tip sauce into a blender and blend until smooth.

    Build your Firepod 

    Easy Pizza Dough

    Easy Pizza Dough

    Servings:          4 x 12in pizza bases 

    Prep time:         1-2 hours  

    Cooking time:  10 mins 

    Ingredients 

    • 650g/1lb 5oz 00 flour (or strong white flour) 
    • 7g/ ¼ oz sachet easy-blend yeast 
    • 2 tsp salt 
    • 25ml/1fl oz olive oil 
    • 50ml/2fl oz warm milk 
    • 325/11fl oz warm water 

    Method 

    1. To make the dough mix the flour, yeast and salt together in a large mixing bowl and stir in the olive oil and milk. Gradually add the water and mix well to form a soft dough

    2. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for about five minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Transfer to a clean bowl and cover with a damp tea towel. Leave to rise until doubled in size. About 1 ½ hours. 

    3. When the dough has risen, knock it back and knead again until smooth. Set aside for 30 minutes until it has risen again. 

    4. Divide the dough into 4 balls and roll out each one.  

    5. Now you can add your favourite toppings and cook in your Firepod.
