Pork & Pineapple Skewers

Pork & Pineapple Skewers

Servings: 4

Cooking time:10 minutes 

Ingredients 

  • 400gms pork fillet, cut into cubes 
  • 4 tbsp muscovado sugar 
  • 60ml cider vinegar 
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce 
  • Small tin of fresh pineapple, well drained 
  • 1 green pepper, cut into chunks 
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges 
  • 10 cherry tomatoes 

Method 

  1. Heat the sugar and vinegar in a pan until the sugar melts. 

  2. Add the fish sauce and leave to cool. 

  3. Tip in the pork and coat thoroughly. 

  4. Assemble the ingredients onto the skewers and cook on the Firepod griddle for 4-5 mins on each side.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza base 
  • 425g carbonara pasta sauce 
  • 90g shredded mozzarella 
  • 100g pancetta, sliced 
  • 125g mushrooms, sliced 
  • 3 shallots, thinly sliced 

 Method 

  1. First make your easy dough. 

  2. Spread the pasta sauce over the bases and sprinkle the cheese. 

  3. Top with pancetta, mushrooms and shallots.  

  4. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes.

Beef Satay

Beef Satay

Prep time: 20 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1lb tenderloin steak, cut into thin strips 
  • ½ cup soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp honey 
  • 1 ½ tsp red pepper flakes 
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds 
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric 

 Method 

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, turmeric and cumin. 

  2. Marinate the steak in the sauce for approx. 15 minutes.  

  3. Cook on your Firepod Hot Rock for roughly a minute on each side.
